11” x 14”

Acrylic on Canvas

This piece plays off of the ideas expressed in my other piece, So Good to See You. What appears to be an abandoned building with no people to be seen and nothing on the shelves, contrasted with the working neon lighting creates almost a sense of confusion at first glance.

I find comfort in the soft glow of neon lighting, and I wanted to create a sense of comfort, for this empty space to feel inviting as I personally perceive it to be. The absence of people is not intimidating, but peaceful.
