This piece was a small scale study of an artificial environment from the video game Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I enjoyed the challenge of recreating a modeled landscape as it involved a strong use of perspective and texturing. I feel as though it was a helpful exercise in my own game making practices as it made me deconstruct the intricate building models that I see in-game and appreciate the time and energy that goes into rendering them for game use.
